Table Saw - ST-12D

This industrial quality ST-12D table saw manufactured in Taiwan and is practically compact in size but of very robust construction and primarily designed to rip through all the hard timbers that is required in many of today’s professional workshops.

The secret to this great saw is the heavy-duty trunnion that supports the large 305mm blade & drive motor is substantially rigid so it can handle & withstand the workload to perform accurate cuts all day. Furthermore, connected to this mechanism are the two smooth action dials with locks to adjust the desired blade height & tilt angle for each required set up. Like all good industrial saws this saw is built with superior strength in mind and the massive total weight of 249kg is a great example of that.

The main table is extremely heavily webbed cast iron which provides a rigid mounting point to connect the trunnion mechanism to support the 305mm main blade. The induction motor power is provided by a 2.2kW / 3hp 240V via three A-section belts that will drive the blade through the most stubbornness timbers. The heavy-duty fence securely locks onto the front and rear of the extra-long square metal tubes to allow a huge 1220mm ripping capacity.

This great saw also includes a mitre guide, mobile wheel base kit that allows you to move the saw around your workshop and a rear dust port that will remove internal dust from underneath the blade when connected to a comparable optional dust extraction system.
