M10 x 1.25mm HSS Spiral Flute Tap

Designed for clean, efficient tapping of blind holes, Spiral Flute Taps feature helical flutes that draw chips upward and out of the hole, rather than pushing them ahead of the cutting action.

This controlled chip evacuation helps prevent chips from packing at the bottom of the hole, making spiral flute taps particularly effective when threads are required close to the bottom of a blind hole.

Manufactured from M35 High Speed Steel with 5% cobalt and finished with a durable TiCN coating, these taps offer excellent heat and wear resistance for demanding workshop and production applications. Precision-ground threads provide accurate, consistent thread forms and smooth cutting performance.
