Welding Electrodes - Hard Facing - EH-531

Basic type heavy coated, high recovery electrode for depositing primary and eutectic Cr, Nb, Mo, W and V carbides in austenitic matrix. Suitable for hardfacing of parts subjected to heavy abrasion with moderate impact. The typical transverse cracks occurring in such a hard metal is not suitable for applications where impact and shock conditions prevail. The weld metal is machineable only by grinding. It has a quiet and regular fusion with metal recovery of 240%. Possible to use with both DC and AC.
