November Sale – In-Store Spend & Save Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter and promotion period
1.1 The promoter is Hare & Forbes Pty Ltd (ABN 96 000 286 957) trading as; Hare & Forbes Machineryhouse, Unit 1, 2 Windsor Road, Northmead, NSW, 2152. "Hare & Forbes", "we", "us".
1.2 The In-Store Spend & Save offer ("Offer") runs from 26 October 2026 to 30 November 2026 inclusive ("Promotion Period"), during normal store trading hours.
1.3 The Offer is available only at Hare & Forbes Machineryhouse stores in Australia. It is not available at New Zealand stores.
2. The Offer
2.1 Customers who make a qualifying in-store purchase during the Promotion Period receive the following additional discount off the transaction total, on top of November Sale promotional pricing:
Eligible spend in one transaction (inc GST)
$1,000.00 to $4,999.99 - Additional discount - $100
$5,000.00 to $9,999.99 - Additional discount - $300
$10,000.00 or more - Additional discount - $500
2.2 Only one discount tier applies per transaction: the highest tier the eligible spend reaches. Tiers cannot be combined or added together.
2.3 The discount is applied at the point of sale. It cannot be claimed after a transaction is completed, and it cannot be exchanged for cash, store credit or gift cards.
3. Who can claim the Offer
3.1 The customer must be physically present in store, and the transaction must be finalised and paid at an in-store point of sale during the Promotion Period.
3.2 Online, telephone and email orders are not eligible. A quote prepared by phone, email or a sales representative is eligible only if the customer attends the store and the sale is finalised and paid in store during the Promotion Period.
3.3 The Offer is not available to:
• wholesale, reseller or dealer customers;
• customers buying on contract or special account pricing;
• Hare & Forbes employees.
3.4 Customers buying online or by phone still receive advertised November Sale promotional pricing, but not the additional Spend & Save discount.
4. Eligible spend
4.1 Eligible spend is the total value of eligible goods in a single transaction, including GST, after November Sale promotional pricing has been applied and before the Spend & Save discount is deducted.
4.2 The following do not count towards eligible spend:
• freight and delivery charges;
• service, installation, commissioning, repair and labour charges;
• purchases of gift cards or store credit.
5. Limits
5.1 One Spend & Save discount per customer per day. A business and its employees or representatives are treated as one customer.
5.2 Purchases from separate transactions cannot be combined to reach a threshold or a higher tier.
5.3 We may refuse the discount where a purchase appears to have been split across transactions or days to obtain more than one discount.
5.4 To verify eligibility, we may ask for the customer's name and contact details or customer account number.
5.5 The Offer cannot be used with any other offer, promotion, voucher or discount, including price matching, trade or account discounts, clearance pricing and bundle deals. The only exception is advertised November Sale promotional pricing.
6. Returns, refunds and exchanges
6.1 If goods from a qualifying transaction are returned for a change-of-mind refund and the remaining eligible spend falls below the tier originally applied, the refund will be reduced by the difference between the discount received and the discount (if any) that applies to the remaining eligible spend.
6.2 Example: a customer spends $1,200 and receives $100 off. They return a $400 item, leaving $800 of eligible spend. No tier applies to $800, so the $400 refund is reduced by $100 to $300.
6.3 If all goods in the transaction are returned, the refund is the amount the customer paid.
6.4 An exchange for goods of equal or greater value does not affect the discount.
6.5 Nothing in this clause limits a customer's rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where goods are returned because of a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee, any refund will be made in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Rainchecks and customer orders
7.1 If an advertised product is unavailable, the customer may place an order in store during the Promotion Period. A deposit of at least 20% of the order value must be paid by 30 November 2026.
7.2 The full order value counts towards eligible spend. November Sale pricing and the applicable Spend & Save discount are held for that order, even if the goods are supplied after the Promotion Period.
7.3 The balance must be paid, and the goods collected or delivery arranged, within 14 days of us notifying the customer that the goods are available.
7.4 If the customer cancels the order, the Spend & Save discount no longer applies. Any deposit refund is handled under our standard order cancellation policy.
8. General conditions
8.1 Offers are subject to stock availability.
8.2 All prices and thresholds are in Australian dollars and include GST.
8.3 We may verify eligibility and refuse or reverse the discount where these terms are not met or the Offer is misused.
8.4 Subject to applicable law, we may amend or withdraw the Offer if circumstances beyond our reasonable control require it.
8.5 Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy a customer has under the Australian Consumer Law.
